حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ زِنْبَاعٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ فَقَدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً أَصْحَابُهُ وَكَانُوا إِذَا نَزَلُوا أَنْزَلُوهُ أَوْسَطَهُمْ فَفَزِعُوا وَظَنُّوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى اخْتَارَ لَهُ أَصْحَابًا غَيْرَهُمْ فَإِذَا هُمْ بِخَيَالِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَبَّرُوا حِينَ رَأَوْهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَشْفَقْنَا أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى اخْتَارَ لَكَ أَصْحَابًا غَيْرَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا بَلْ أَنْتُمْ أَصْحَابِي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى أَيْقَظَنِي فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنِّي لَمْ أَبْعَثْ نَبِيًّا وَلَا رَسُولًا إِلَّا وَقَدْ سَأَلَنِي مَسْأَلَةً أَعْطَيْتُهَا إِيَّاهُ فَاسْأَلْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ تُعْطَ فَقُلْتُ مَسْأَلَتِي شَفَاعَةٌ لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الشَّفَاعَةُ قَالَ أَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ شَفَاعَتِي الَّتِي اخْتَبَأْتُ عِنْدَكَ فَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى نَعَمْ فَيُخْرِجُ رَبِّي تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بَقِيَّةَ أُمَّتِي مِنْ النَّارِ فَيَنْبِذُهُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Hakam ibn Nafi narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Rashid ibn Dawud al-San'ani, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Hassan, from Rawh ibn Zinba', from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: One night the Companions lost sight of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - and it was their custom, whenever they camped, to place him in their midst - so they were alarmed and thought that Allah, Blessed and Exalted, had chosen for him companions other than themselves. Then suddenly they saw the shape of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so they said Allahu Akbar when they saw him, and said: O Messenger of Allah, we feared that Allah, Blessed and Exalted, had chosen for you companions other than us. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No, rather you are my companions in this world and the next. Allah, Exalted is He, woke me and said: O Muhammad, I have never sent a prophet or a messenger but that he asked Me for something and I granted it to him; so ask, O Muhammad, and you shall be granted. I said: My request is intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection. Abu Bakr said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the intercession? He said: I say: O my Lord, my intercession which I have kept in store with You. Then the Lord, Blessed and Exalted, says: Yes. So my Lord, Blessed and Exalted, brings out the rest of my nation from the Fire and casts them into Paradise.
