حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَصَاعِدًا.

'Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Mahmud ibn al-Rabi', from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no prayer for one who does not recite the Mother of the Qur'an and more."
