حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ وَحَدَّثَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ مَحْمُودَ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ الَّذِي مَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مِنْ بِئْرِهِمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim told us, my father told us, from Salih — and Ibn Shihab related that Mahmud ibn al-Rabi', into whose face the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had sprayed water from their well twice, informed him that 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit informed him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no prayer for one who does not recite the Mother of the Qur'an."
