حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَسُوا مِنْ ثِيَابِكُمْ الْبَيَاضَ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ وَإِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدَ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Wear white garments, for they are among the best of your clothes, and shroud your dead in them. And the best of your kohl is ithmid (antimony) — it clears the vision and grows the eyelashes.'
