حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ مَوْلَى خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ عُرْفُطَةَ قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ يَعْنِي حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ مَوْلَى خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ عُرْفُطَةَ قَالَ لِلْمُخْتَارِ هَذَا رَجُلٌ كَذَّابٌ وَلَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from 'Alqamah, from 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed - Ibrahim said: he increased or decreased - so when he gave the salam, it was said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, has something new happened regarding the prayer?' He said: 'What is that?' They said: 'You prayed such and such.' He folded his legs, faced the qiblah, and made two prostrations, then gave the salam. Then he turned his face toward us and said: 'If something new had happened regarding the prayer, I would have informed you. But I am only a human being; I forget as you forget. So when I forget, remind me. And when one of you is uncertain in his prayer, let him estimate the correct amount, complete what remains, then make two prostrations.'
