حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي غُنْدَرًا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ فَإِنْ شَهِدَ دَفْنَهَا كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ قَالُوا وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ قَالَ أَصْغَرُهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Hisham - meaning Ibn Abi 'Abdullah - narrated to us, and Ibn Ja'far - meaning Ghundar - narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah, from Thawban, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Whoever follows a funeral and prays over it will have one qirat. And if he witnesses its burial, he will have two qirats." They asked: "What are the two qirats?" He said: "The smaller of them is like (Mount) Uhud."
