حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَرَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَكْحُولٌ أَنَّ شَيْخًا مِنْ الْحَيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ.

'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us — and Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us — Makhul informed me that a shaykh from the tribe informed him, that Thawban, the freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), informed him that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The one cupping and the one being cupped have both broken their fast."
