حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَعَلَى الْخِمَارِ ثُمَّ الْعِمَامَةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
al-Hasan ibn Sawwar narrated to us, Layth, meaning Ibn Sa'd, narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah, from 'Utbah Abu Umayyah al-Dimashqi, from Abu Sallam al-Aswad, from Thawban, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) perform ablution and wipe over his leather socks and his head-covering, then his turban.
