Abu Abd al-Rahman — that is, al-Muqri — narrated to us: Sa'id — that is, Ibn Abi Ayyub — narrated to us: Abu Isa al-Khurasani narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn al-Qasim, who said: A neighbor of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told me that she used to hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, at the break of dawn: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave and from the trial of the grave." Abu Isa said: I said to Abdullah, "What do you say if someone combines the two?" He said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said what he said."
