حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَخْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولًا يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هِنْدٍ الدَّارِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ رَايَا اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri, Abdullah ibn Yazid, narrated to us: Hayawa narrated to us: Abu Sakhr narrated to us, that he heard Makhul saying: Abu Hind al-Dari narrated to me that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever takes a stand out of ostentation and seeking a reputation, Allah, the Exalted, will expose him for it on the Day of Resurrection and make known his true reputation."
