حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي شَافِعًا لِأَصْحَابِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اقْرَءُوا الزَّهْرَاوَيْنِ الْبَقَرَةَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَأْتِيَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ أَوْ غَيَايَتَانِ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا فِرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافَّ يُحَاجَّانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِمَا وَاقْرَءُوا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ وَلَا تَسْتَطِيعُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَمْلَاهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بِوَاسِطٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid ibn Harun told us, Hisham informed us, from Yahya, from Zayd ibn Sallam, from Abu Sallam, that he heard Abu Umamah say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Recite the Qur'an, for it comes as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection. Recite the two luminous ones, al-Baqarah and Aal 'Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, arguing on behalf of their companion. And recite Surat al-Baqarah, for taking it up is a blessing and forsaking it is a regret, and the workers of falsehood cannot withstand it." Abdullah said: This hadith Yazid ibn Harun dictated at Wasit.
