حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَرَسُولِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Attab -- he is Ibn Ziyad -- told us, Abdullah told us, Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, from Ubaydullah ibn Zahr, from Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever initiates the greeting of peace is closer to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and His Messenger."
