Abd al-Razzaq told us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il, from Masruq, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent him to Yemen and commanded him to take from every thirty head of cattle one yearling calf, male or female, and from every forty a two-year-old, and from every adult who had reached puberty a dinar or its equivalent in Ma'afir cloth.
