حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَتَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ قُلْتُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلَا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ قَالَ قُلْتُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: Do you know what is the right of Allah upon His servants? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: That they worship Him and not associate anything with Him. He said: And do you know what is their right upon Him if they do that? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: That He will not punish them.
