حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَطَاءً عَنْ الدِّينَارِ بِالدِّينَارِ وَبَيْنَهُمَا فَضْلٌ وَالدِّرْهَمِ بِالدِّرْهَمِ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحِلُّهُ فَقَالَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ إِنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ بِمَا لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَلَغَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَكِنَّ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ الرِّبَا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ أَوْ النُّقْرَةِ.

Muhammad ibn Bakr told us, Yahya ibn Qays al-Mazini told us, who said: I asked Ata' about a dinar for a dinar with a surplus between them, and a dirham for a dirham. He said: Ibn Abbas used to permit it. Ibn al-Zubayr said: Ibn Abbas relates what he did not hear from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
