حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ح وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ح وَوَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ تَسَحَّرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَخَرَجْنَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَأُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَقُلْتُ كَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ قَدْرُ مَا يَقْرَأُ الرَّجُلُ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً قَالَ قَالَ يَزِيدُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فَقُلْتُ لِزَيْدٍ كَمْ كَانَ قَدْرُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ نَحْوًا مِنْ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً.

Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Hisham: Qatada told us, from Anas, from Zayd ibn Thabit — and Yazid said: Hammam informed us, from Qatada, from Anas, from Zayd ibn Thabit — and Waki' [said]: al-Dastuwa'i told us, from Qatada, from Anas, from Zayd ibn Thabit, who said: We ate the pre-dawn meal with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and went out to the mosque, and the prayer was called. I said: "How much time was between them?" He said: "About the time a man recites fifty verses." Yazid said in his narration: I said to Zayd: "How much was between them?" He said: "About fifty verses."
