Hasan ibn Musa told us: Ibn Lahi'a told us: Darraj told us, from Abu al-Haytham, from Abu Dharr, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Six days" — then: "understand, O Abu Dharr, what I say to you afterward." When the seventh day came, he said: "I enjoin you to fear of Allah in your private and public affairs, and if you do wrong, follow it with good; and do not ask anyone for anything, even if your whip falls; and do not accept a trust; and do not judge between two people." Mu'awiya ibn Amr told us: Abdullah ibn Wahb told us, from Amr and from Darraj, from Abu al-Muthanna, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: "Six days" — "understand, O Abu Dharr, what is said to you" — except that he said: "and do not take on a trust, and do not judge between two people."
