حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ اسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ فَلَا يَمَسَّ الْحَصَى وَلَا يُحَرِّكْهَا.

Yazid told us: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When one of you stands for prayer, mercy comes to face him, so let him not touch the pebbles nor move them."
