حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَمَانِ وَأَبِي الْمُثَنَّى أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ قَالَ بَايَعَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسًا وَأَوْثَقَنِي سَبْعًا وَأَشْهَدَ اللَّهَ عَلَيَّ تِسْعًا أَنْ لَا أَخَافَ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ قَالَ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ فَدَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ هَلْ لَكَ إِلَى بَيْعَةٍ وَلَكَ الْجَنَّةُ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ وَبَسَطْتُ يَدِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ يَشْتَرِطُ عَلَيَّ أَنْ لَا تَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَلَا سَوْطَكَ إِنْ يَسْقُطَ مِنْكَ حَتَّى تَنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ فَتَأْخُذَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Mughirah told us, Safwan told us, from Abu al-Yaman and Abu al-Muthanna, that Abu Dharr said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took a pledge from me on five things, bound me firmly on seven, and made Allah a witness over me on nine: that I should not fear, for the sake of Allah, the blame of any blamer." Abu al-Muthanna said: Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called me and said: "Would you like to give a pledge of allegiance, and Paradise be yours?" I said: "Yes," and I stretched out my hand. The Messenger of Allah, stipulating a condition upon me, said: "That you not ask people for anything." I said: "Yes." He said: "Not even your whip, if it falls from you, until you get down to it and pick it up yourself."
