حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ الْأَسْوَدُ قَالَ مُؤَمَّلٌ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَالِحًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الصِّدِّيقِ يُحَدِّثُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ فِي زَمَانٍ عُلَمَاؤُهُ كَثِيرٌ وَخُطَبَاؤُهُ قَلِيلٌ مَنْ تَرَكَ فِيهِ عُشَيْرَ مَا يَعْلَمُ هَوَى أَوْ قَالَ هَلَكَ وَسَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَقِلُّ عُلَمَاؤُهُ وَيَكْثُرُ خُطَبَاؤُهُ مَنْ تَمَسَّكَ فِيهِ بِعُشَيْرِ مَا يَعْلَمُ نَجَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Mu'ammal told us: Hammad told us: Hajjaj al-Aswad told us - Mu'ammal said: he was a righteous man - he said: I heard Abu al-Siddiq narrating to Thabit al-Bunani, from a man, from Abu Dharr, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You are in a time when its scholars are many and its preachers are few. Whoever abandons in it a tenth of what he knows goes astray" - or he said "perishes." "And there will come upon the people a time when its scholars are few and its preachers are many. Whoever holds fast in it to a tenth of what he knows is saved."
