حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يَأْتِي الصَّلَاةَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ لَوْ اتَّخَذْتَ حِمَارًا يَقِيكَ الرَّمْضَاءَ وَالشَّوْكَ وَالْوَقْعَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَذَكَرَ رَابِعَةً قَالَ مَحْلُوفَةً مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ طُنُبِي بِطُنُبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَكَ مَا نَوَيْتَ أَوْ قَالَ لَكَ أَجْرُ مَا نَوَيْتَ شُعْبَةُ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Asim, who said: I heard Abu Uthman relate, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: There was a man who used to come to the prayer, and it was said to him, "If only you would get yourself a donkey to protect you from the heat of the ground, the thorns, and stepping on hazards." Shu'bah said: And he mentioned a fourth thing. He said: "I swear, it would not please me that my tent-peg be next to the tent-peg of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." So that was mentioned to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: "You shall have what you intended," or he said, "You shall have the reward of what you intended." Shu'bah says that.
