الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' told us, Ibn Abi Khalid told us, from Qays, who said: We entered upon Khabbab to visit him while he was building a wall of his, and he said: "The Muslim is rewarded for everything, except what he spends on this dust." He had been cauterized seven times in his belly, and he said: "Were it not that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade us to pray for death, I would have prayed for it."
