حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَرْمٍ عَن سِمَاكٍ عَن جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا فَمَنْ حَدَّثَكَ أَنَّهُ رَآهُ يَخْطُبُ إِلَّا قَائِمًا فَقَدْ كَذَبَ وَلَكِنَّهُ رُبَّمَا خَرَجَ وَرَأَى النَّاسَ فِي قِلَّةٍ فَجَلَسَ ثُمَّ يَثُوبُونَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Jabir ibn Samurah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) delivering the sermon standing. Whoever tells you that they saw him deliver the sermon except while standing has lied. However, he would sometimes come out and see few people, so he would sit until more gathered, then he would stand and deliver the sermon standing.
