حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الشَّيْخَ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ كَلَّمْتُ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَكَلْتُ مَعَهُ وَرَأَيْتُ الْعَلَامَةَ الَّتِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ وَهِيَ فِي طَرَفِ نُغْضِ كَتِفِهِ الْيُسْرَى كَأَنَّهُ جُمْعٌ يَعْنِي الْكَفَّ الْمُجْتَمِعَ وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ فَقَبَضَهَا عَلَيْهِ خِيلَانٌ كَهَيْئَةِ الثَّآلِيلِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdullah ibn Sarjis said: 'Do you see this old man?' - meaning himself - 'I spoke to the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him), ate with him, and saw the mark that was between his shoulders. It was on the tip of the cartilage of his left shoulder blade, like a clenched fist with moles on it resembling warts.'
