حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ أَسِيرًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تُقْبَلُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْكِتَابِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
A man from the desert narrated from his father, who had been a captive in the custody of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: I heard Muhammad (peace be upon him) say: 'No prayer is accepted in which the Umm al-Kitab (al-Fatihah) is not recited.'
