حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا فَسَدَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ فَلَا خَيْرَ فِيكُمْ وَلَنْ تَزَالَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْصُورِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ.

Yahya b. Sa'id narrated to us from Shu'ba: Mu'awiya b. Qurra told me, from his father, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — and Muhammad b. Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'ba narrated to us from Mu'awiya b. Qurra from his father, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — that he said: "When the people of Syria become corrupt, there is no good left in you. A group of my nation will continue to be victorious, unharmed by whoever forsakes them, until the Hour comes."
