حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَ الْحَسَنُ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَامُ أَبُو الْعَرَبِ وَيَافِثُ أَبُو الرُّومِ وَحَامُ أَبُو الْحَبَشِ وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ بِبَغْدَادَ مِنْ حِفْظِهِ وَلَدُ نُوحٍ ثَلَاثَةٌ سَامُ وَحَامُ وَيَافِثُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rawh narrated to us, from his book: Sa'id ibn Abi Aruba narrated to us, from Qatada, who said: al-Hasan narrated, from Samura, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sam is the father of the Arabs, Yafith is the father of the Byzantines, and Ham is the father of the Abyssinians." And Rawh said in Baghdad, from his memory: "Noah had three sons: Sam, Ham, and Yafith."
