حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَيَرَى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُسْمِعْ النِّسَاءَ فَأَتَاهُنَّ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ نَاشِرًا ثَوْبَهُ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقْنَ فَجَعَلَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي وَأَشَارَ أَيُّوبُ إِلَى أُذُنِهِ وَإِلَى حَلْقِهِ كَأَنَّهُ يُرِيدُ التُّومَةَ وَالْقِلَادَةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed before the sermon (on Eid). Then he delivered the sermon, and seeing that he had not been heard by the women, he went to them with Bilal spreading out his garment (to collect charity). He admonished them and commanded them to give in charity. The women began throwing their earrings, necklaces, and such things.
