حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا رَجُلٌ وَالرَّجُلُ كَانَ يُسَمَّى فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَمْرَو بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ ثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ مَأْدُومٍ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَكَانَ أَبِي رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ قَدْ ضَرَبَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي كِتَابِهِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ وَكَتَبَ عَلَيْهِ صَحَّ صَحَّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّمَا ضَرَبَ أَبِي عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَرْضَ الرَّجُلَ الَّذِي حَدَّثَ عَنْه يَزِيدُ.

Abdullah told us, my father told me, Yazid told us, a man informed us - and the man was named in the book of Abu Abd ar-Rahman as Amr ibn Ubayd - he said: Abu Raja' al-Utaridi told us, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: "The family of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, never had their fill of wheat bread with seasoning until he passed on to his Lord." Abu Abd ar-Rahman said: My father, may Allah have mercy on him, had struck out this hadith in his book, so I asked him about it, and he related it to me and wrote over it "correct, correct." Abu Abd ar-Rahman said: My father only struck out this hadith because he did not approve of the man from whom Yazid narrated it.
