الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Said narrated to us, from Shubah, al-Azraq ibn Qays narrated to me, saying: I saw an old man in al-Ahwaz praying the Asr prayer while holding the reins of his riding animal. The animal kept pulling back and he kept stepping back with it. A man from the Khawarij was sitting there cursing him. When he finished praying, he said: 'I have heard your words. I participated in six or seven expeditions with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and I witnessed his practice and his ease. Returning with my animal was more beloved to me than leaving it to go to its familiar place and causing me hardship.' I asked: 'How many units did he pray?' He said: 'Two.' And behold, it was Abu Barzah.
