حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حِدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ حُدِّثْتُ عَنِ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Samad narrated to us: my father narrated to me: Husayn narrated to us, from Ibn Buraydah, who said: I was told, on the authority of al-Ash'ari, that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for what I have done before and what I have left undone, what I have concealed and what I have made known. You are the One who brings forward and the One who delays, and You are Able to do all things."
