Rawh narrated to us: Umar ibn Sa’id ibn Abi Husayn narrated to us, who said: Abd Allah ibn Abi Mulaykah informed me, from Uqbah ibn al-Harith, who said: I prayed the Asr prayer with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and when he gave the salam, he stood up quickly and went in to one of his wives, then came out, and saw the astonishment on the faces of the people at his haste. He said, "I remembered, while I was in prayer, some gold we had, and I disliked that it should remain with us into the evening or overnight, so I ordered it to be distributed." Abu Ahmad narrated to us: Umar ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Uqbah ibn al-Harith, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, departed when he had prayed the Asr, and he related the same meaning.
