حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي السَّفَرِ وَعَنْ نَاسٍ ذَكَرَهُمْ شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَصَابَ بِحَدِّهِ فَكُلْ وَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَقَتَلَ فَإِنَّهُ وَقِيذٌ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي قَالَ إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كَلْبَكَ وَسَمَّيْتَ فَأَخَذَ فَكُلْ فَإِذَا أَكَلَ مِنْهُ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ فَإِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي فَأَجِدُ مَعَهُ كَلْبًا آخَرَ لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا أَخَذَ قَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْ فَإِنَّمَا سَمَّيْتَ عَلَى كَلْبِكَ وَلَمْ تُسَمِّ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja’far narrated to us: Shu’bah narrated to us: Abd Allah ibn Abi al-Safar narrated to us — and from people Shu’bah mentioned — from al-Sha’bi, who said: I heard Adi ibn Hatim say: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about the mi’rad, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If it strikes with its sharp edge, eat; and if it strikes with its broad side and kills, it is a beast killed by a blow, so do not eat." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I release my dog." He said, "When you release your dog, having mentioned the name of Allah, and it catches game, eat; but if it eats from it, do not eat, for it caught it only for itself." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I release my dog and find another dog with it, and I do not know which of them caught it." He said, "Do not eat, for you mentioned the name of Allah only over your own dog, and did not mention it over the other."
