حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَشَهَّدَ أَحَدُهُمَا فَقَالَ مَنْ يُطِعْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ رَشَدَ وَمَنْ يَعْصِهِمَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِئْسَ الْخَطِيبُ أَنْتَ قُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay’, from Tamim ibn Tarafah, from Adi ibn Hatim, who said: Two men came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and one of them gave a testimony and said, "Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has been rightly guided, and whoever disobeys them both…" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "What a bad speaker you are! Sit down!"
