Isma'il ibn Ulayyah told us: Ayyub informed us, from al-Qasim al-Shaybani: that Zayd ibn Arqam saw some people praying in the mosque of Quba during the mid-morning, and he said: Do they not know that prayer at a time other than this hour is better? Indeed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The prayer of those who turn to Allah is when the young weaned camels feel the heat — and he said on another occasion: and some people were praying.
