Affan told us: Hammad told us: Asim ibn Bahdala informed us, from Abu Wa'il, from Jarir ibn Abdullah al-Bajali, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, stipulate conditions upon me." He said, "You worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, you perform the prescribed prayer, you pay the obligatory zakat, you give sincere counsel to the Muslim, and you disavow yourself from the disbeliever."
