He said: I read to Abdur Rahman: Malik said - and Ishaq narrated to us, Malik informed me, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abdullah al-Sunabihi, who said: "When the servant performs ablution and rinses his mouth, sins come out from his nose. When he washes his face, sins come out from his face until they come out from beneath the lashes of his eyes. When he washes his hands, his sins come out from his hands until they come out from beneath the nails of his hands. When he wipes his head, sins come out from his head until they come out from his ears. And when he washes his feet, sins come out from his feet until they come out from beneath the nails of his feet. Then his walking to the mosque and his prayer are supererogatory for him."
