حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ يَعْنِي الْقَطَّانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ الْأُسَيِّدِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا إِذَا كُنَّا عِنْدَكَ كُنَّا فَإِذَا فَارَقْنَاكَ كُنَّا عَلَى غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ تَكُونُونَ عَلَى الْحَالِ الَّذِي تَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهَا عِنْدِي لَصَافَحَتْكُمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَلَأَظَلَّتْكُمْ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Imran - that is, al-Qattan - narrated to us, from Qatada, from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn al-Shikhkhir, from Hanzala al-Usayyidi, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when we are with you we are in a certain state, but when we part from you we are in a different state." He said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if you were to remain upon the state you are in with me, the angels would shake hands with you and shade you with their wings."
