حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ مِنْ آلِ حُذَيْفَةَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ دِحْيَةَ الْكَلْبِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا أَحْمِلُ لَكَ حِمَارًا عَلَى فَرَسٍ فَيُنْتِجَ لَكَ بَغْلًا فَتَرْكَبُهَا قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us: 'Umar, from the family of Hudhayfah, told us, from al-Sha'bi, from Dihyah al-Kalbi, who said: I said, O Messenger of Allah, shall I not breed a donkey with a mare for you, so that it produces a mule for you to ride? He said: That is only done by those who do not know.
