حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهَذِهِ مِنْهُ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى عَنْفَقَتِهِ بَيْضَاءُ فَقِيلَ لِأَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ وَمِثْلُ مَنْ أَنْتَ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ أَبْرِي النَّبْلَ وَأَرِيشُهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sulayman ibn Dawud and Abu Kamil told us, they said: Zuhayr told us: Abu Ishaq told us, from Abu Juhayfah, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him - and this grey hair was on him - and he pointed to his beard-tuft, saying it was white. It was said to Abu Juhayfah, And what were you like on that day? He said, I was fashioning arrows and fletching them.
