حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَن عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِحَسَّانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ اهْجُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ مَعَكَ.

Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-Shaybani told us, from 'Adiyy ibn Thabit, from al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Hassan ibn Thabit: Satirize the polytheists, for Gabriel is with you.
