حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْكَلَالَةِ فَقَالَ تَكْفِيكَ آيَةُ الصَّيْفِ.

Ma'mar b. Sulayman al-Raqqi told us, al-Hajjaj told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara' b. 'Azib, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about kalalah (a person who dies leaving no parent or child as heir), and he said: The verse of summer is sufficient for you.
