الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us: Shu'bah told us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I heard al-Bara' ibn Azib [say] that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded a man of the Ansar to say, when he lay down to sleep: "O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, turned my face to You, entrusted my affair to You, and rested my back upon You, in desire and fear of You. There is no refuge nor escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and Your Prophet whom You have sent." [He said:] "If he dies, he dies upon the natural disposition (fitrah)."
