Muhammad b. Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Amr b. Murra, he said: I heard Ibn Abi Layla say: al-Bara' b. Azib told us that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite the qunut in the dawn prayer and the sunset prayer. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: It is not narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he recited qunut in the sunset prayer except in this hadith, and it is reported from Ali as his own opinion.
