Ya'qub narrated to us: My father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq: Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith al-Taymi narrated to me, from Umar ibn al-Hakam ibn Thawban, from Ibn Las al-Khuza'i, who said: Ammar ibn Yasir entered the mosque and prayed two rak'ahs in it, the lightest and yet most complete of prayers. Then he sat, and we got up and sat with him, and said to him: You made these two rak'ahs of yours very light indeed, O Abu al-Yaqzan. He said: I hastened through them to beat Satan to entering upon me in them - and he mentioned the hadith. Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us: Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Hashim, from Abu Mijlaz, who said: Ammar prayed a prayer and made it brief, and he was asked, or it was said to him, and he said: I have not omitted anything from the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
