حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَسَّالٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ لِآخَرَ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى هَذَا النَّبِيِّ قَالَ لَا تَقُلْ هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ لَوْ سَمِعَهَا كَانَ لَهُ أَرْبَعُ أَعْيُنٍ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْنَا إِلَيْهِ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ { وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ } قَالَ لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا وَلَا تَزْنُوا وَلَا تَفِرُّوا مِنْ الزَّحْفِ وَلَا تَسْحَرُوا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَا وَلَا تُدْلُوا بِبَرِيءٍ إِلَى ذِي سُلْطَانٍ لِيَقْتُلَهُ وَعَلَيْكُمْ خَاصَّةً يَهُودُ أَنْ لَا تَعْتَدُوا فِي السَّبْتِ فَقَالَا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Shu'bah, who said: Amr ibn Murrah narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Salamah, from Safwan ibn Assal, who said: A man from among the Jews said to another, "Let us go to this prophet." He said, "Do not say this, for if he heard it, he would grow four eyes." He said, "So we went to him and asked him about this verse: {And indeed We gave Moses nine clear signs}." He said, "Do not associate anything with Allah, do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not flee from the battle line, do not practice sorcery, do not consume usury, do not deliver an innocent man to a ruler so that he may be killed, and upon you, O Jews, in particular, is that you must not transgress on the Sabbath." So the two of them said, "We bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah."
