حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ كُنَّا غِلْمَانًا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ نَكُنْ نُحْسِنُ نَسْأَلُهُ فَقُلْتُ أَشَيْخًا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ فِي عَنْفَقَتِهِ شَعَرَاتٌ بِيضٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hajjaj ibn Muhammad told us, from Hariz ibn Uthman, who said: We were young boys sitting with Abdullah ibn Busr, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and we did not know how to question him properly. So I said, 'Was the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, an old man (with gray hair)?' He said, 'In the tuft beneath his lower lip there were a few white hairs.'
