حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ يَحْيَى وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ.

Yahya ibn Adam and Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr told us, they said: Isra'il told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Hubshi ibn Junadah - Yahya said: he was among those who witnessed the Farewell Pilgrimage - he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads. They said: O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten their hair? He said: O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads. They said: O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten? He said, the third time: And those who shorten.
