حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مِشْرَحُ بْنُ هَاعَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَسْلَمَ النَّاسُ وَآمَنَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِي.

Abu Abd al-Rahman told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Mishrah ibn Ha'an told me, who said: I heard Uqbah ibn Amir say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The people submitted (became Muslim), but Amr ibn al-As believed.
