حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَصَلَّى عَلَى أَهْلِ أُحُدٍ صَلَاتَهُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ وَأَنَا شَهِيدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى حَوْضِي الْآنَ وَإِنِّي قَدْ أُعْطِيتُ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي وَلَكِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hashim told us, Layth told us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib told me, from Abu al-Khayr, from Uqbah ibn Amir al-Juhani, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went out one day and prayed over the people of Uhud as one prays over the dead, then went out to the pulpit and said: Indeed I am a forerunner for you, and I am a witness over you, and by Allah, I am looking now at my Basin, and I have been given the keys to the treasures of the earth, and by Allah I do not fear that you will associate partners with Allah after me, but I fear that you will compete with one another for this world.
